The Pelican 1200 is a compact hardcase made of sturdy plastic with a water-resistant gasket- I mean, you probably already know what a Pelican case is. This will hold one 35mm SLR o r DSLR body, and maybe a small lens, so space efficiency is not tremendous, but if you really, really don't want that one camera to get squashed, this is your case.
