This colourful shingling plant thrives in high humidity environments and is perfect for filling out empty spaces in terrariums, take cuttings, pop them in and watch them climb! New growth develops in a paler green colour then hardens off with purple edges (you may also see this plant being called the 'Trailing Watermelon Begonia'). Light: Does well in medium light conditions, too much light can cause leaf burning or discolouration. Water: Water generously once the top third of the soil drys out. Water less in cooler months. Feed: Feed monthly during the growing season, be careful not to over feed as this can cause leaf burn. Humidity: Thrives in high humidity. Will struggle in low humidity.
