Natural PEMF comes from more than 7 million lightning bolts that strike the Earth every day. These flashes of energy from above resonate and ring the proverbial bell of the ionosphere to an average note of 7.83 Hz, also known as the Schumann Resonance (and the first Chakra). Our bodies have been exposed to and resonate at these natural low Earth frequencies since people have been around on planet Earth. The word Chakra is derived from the Hindu word meaning wheel (as well as circle and cycle). How does this relate to the human body Inside each of our trillions of cells are 200 to 300 mitochondria; they turn the food you eat into electrical energy, or electrons in a high-energy state and store them in ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). The average person expends their body weight in ATP every day; since the normal person only has 50 grams of total ATP in their body, the ATP is recycled or recharged 1000 to 1500 times a day in the mitochondria. Items included with the Gamma PEMF Device: Control box with internal rechargeable battery included 8" Coil assembly with 6 foot cord AC power supply with 6 foot cord Round 3/8" neodymium magnet used for testing Instruction Manual Unit setup: Plug the wire from the coil into the COIL jack on the control box. To turn the unit on press red POWER button or plug the AC power supply into the POWER jack. To test unit operation hold the magnet in your open hand directly over the coil and note vibration of magnet. A/C Power Operation: The Gamma PEMF is always ON producing the PEMF signal and charging the battery when plugged into AC power. The unit may be left ON continuously and will charge and maintain the battery at full strength, and will never overcharge the battery using smart charge technology. The cost to leave the unit ON continuously is only pennies a month, about the same as a small nightlight. To turn the unit OFF while operating from AC power simply unplug the POWER cord. The strength of the magnetic PEMF pulse is greater when running on AC power than running on battery power, use AC power whenever possible. Battery Power Operation: To operate the Gamma PEMF from battery power press the red POWER button, to turn the unit OFF while operating from battery power push and hold the red POWER button until both lights turn off (about 2 seconds). The unit will automatically turn OFF when the battery is low, and may be plugged in at any state of battery discharge to recharge the battery. Runtime on battery power should be over 8 hours when running the Shealy sweep, less runtime while running Gamma sweep, more runtime while running Delta sweep. The lifetime of the battery should be at least 350 recharge cycles, or 1 to 5 years under normal use. Replace the battery when run time between charges is less than desired. NEVER use any other type battery (Lithium Ion, Lithium Polymer, Alkaline, etc.) or damage to the unit may result. Changing sweep modes: The unit boots up running the Shealy Sweep (5.83Hz through 56.6Hz ), the best all around sweep to use indicated by the POWER light glowing steady GREEN. Briefly pushing the red Power button will cycle into the Gamma Sweep (38 through 54Hz) for high brain level/cognitive activity, indicated by the POWER light twinkling RED/GREEN. Pushing the button again cycles into the Delta Sweep (1 to 3Hz) for sleep/relaxation indicated by the POWER light glowing steady RED. Subsequent button pushes cycle through the three sweeps.
