FP-1 I’ve always loved Fire Agate. There is something almost mythical about it the surface can feel like the skin of some ancient creature, with a presence that demands attention. I wanted to build a pendant around this stone. My main idea was to keep the silver at a similar height to the stone rather than creating a flat backplate behind it. I wanted the metal to have its own presence and become part of the form. The black spinels and garnets were chosen to complement the Fire Agate while bringing their own darker, almost mystical quality to the piece.
