Nothing to assemble, nothing to work loose, no seam for water to sit in. It is sold as a single bowl. Most orders take two, one for food and one for water. On the sizeThis is a bowl for cats and small dogs. Five inches across the rim is a meal, not a large dog's dinner. For bigger appetites, the Carrara set holds more than three cups a bowl.
