About the artist:Jenabah Yazzie (Diné) is from Lok'aa' (Reed Springs), just north of Teesto, Arizona on the Navajo Nation. A winner of the Tribal Student Design competition, she is studying psychology at Diné College. “Infinite Prayer” is one of her paintings. She is artistically inspired by teachings and songs passed down from her family. Her late father’s artistic abilities led her to drawing and painting. She believes that art and culture go hand in hand. “Art is an extension of thoughts, emotions and energy that you make visible for others…a medicine that helps both mentally and spiritually.”
