The Pentair 355949Z SuperFlo VST Pump Diffuser is a replacement wet end component designed for use in compatible SuperFlo variable speed and single-speed pump models. This diffuser directs water flow from the impeller into the volute with minimal turbulence, helping maintain hydraulic efficiency and smooth circulation performance. Constructed from durable polymer engineered for resistance to pool chemical exposure and mechanical wear, it restores proper flow characteristics when servicing or rebuilding the pump wet end. ──────────────────────────────────────── Key Features • Replacement diffuser designed for SuperFlo VST pump models.• Directs water from the impeller into the volute to support smooth, efficient flow.• Constructed from durable, pool-grade materials resistant to chemical exposure.• Precision-molded design ensures proper alignment with impeller and housing.• Restores hydraulic efficiency and balanced circulation performance.• Ideal replacement part for wet end rebuilds and maintenance service. ──────────────────────────────────────── Product Overview The Pentair 355949Z SuperFlo VST Pump Diffuser is an internal wet end component used in select SuperFlo series pool pumps. Installed between the impeller and pump housing, this diffuser shapes the water path as it exits the impeller, reducing turbulence and promoting consistent pressure transfer into the volute. Proper diffuser function is critical to maintaining hydraulic balance and achieving the design flow characteristics of the pump. Over time, diffusers can wear or deform from debris impact, chemical exposure, or extended service use, leading to reduced flow efficiency or vibration. Replacing the worn or damaged diffuser with the Pentair 355949Z restores optimized flow geometry within the wet end and supports reliable circulation performance. Engineered for durability in chemically treated water environments, this replacement component is suitable for routine wet end service and rebuilds in residential pool pump applications.
