A round occasional/centre table combining a dark stained wood top with a contrasting painted base in brick/tomato red. The circular top is in a rich stained oak finish, with visibl e grain figuring. The base is a tripod pedestal design in solid painted wood: a tapered, turreted column rises from a tri-form platform base with concave, gently curving arms extending to three feet. Each arm terminates in a turned bun foot. The column itself has a subtly tapered, faceted-cone profile with a moulded, stepped collar where it meets the platform, echoing classic 19th-century pedestal table joinery.
