The new Pendix eDrive electric bike conversion kit has undergone hardware and software enhancements to boost its torque output to 65 newton metres. The Pendix engineers have succeeded in increasing the proportion of active material in the motors by sophisticated adaptation of the stator design, thus increasing the maximum torque. With the updated Pendix.bike PRO App you can decide for yourself whether you want the full motor support or whether you need the maximum range for your tour. This new function called "Drive Profiles" allows you to select a range of customised settings to suit your riding style(s) The new 500 watt-hour battery runs at a higher 48 volt output, offering a great balance between power delivery and range capacity. You can easily switch between the three modes (Eco (+75% power), Smart (+150% power) and Sports (+ 200% power)) while on the go to balance assistance required with range needed. With a full bluetooth integration from the battery to the Pendix.bike PRO App you can use your existing phone as a dashboard to display speed, battery health, range and even distance you've travelled. The set up comes with two cable length options: 50 cm or 95 cm between the motor and battery location. This is a hard wired lead so contact us for advice on which would best suit your needs. The kit includes the motor, battery mount, battery and battery charger. Pendix also offer a tube clamp kit to mount the battery if you do not have bottle bosses on the frame. You may also require a front chain ring(s) if your existing one is not compatible (104BCD - 4 bolt)
