Peperomia polybotrya, commonly known as the Raindrop Peperomia, has large glossy tear-drop shaped leaves. It has a similar look to the popular Chinese Money Plant. Most Peperomia a re native to sub-tropical areas of South and Central America but they can also be found in Africa, South Asia, and Oceania. The genus is in the family Piperaceae (the pepper family).
