Salt baths are said to detoxify the skin, removing impurities as well as improving circulation and reducing stress. Our bath salts use sea salt which is hand harvested using traditional methods from the Guerande salt marshes, it contains many trace minerals in them due to the clay on which it crystallizes. Epsom salts, which are not actually salts at all, are traditionally believed to help with aches and pains by soothing muscles and the skin as well as releasing magnesium into the bath water to be absorbed by the skin. Sodium Bicarbonate is said to help skin conditions by soothing itching, burning and swelling.
