Persea Wurtz, also known as Little Cado, is the smallest growing avocado variety, making it the perfect choice for compact gardens, courtyards, and large pots. Its naturally compact size and graceful weeping habit create an attractive feature tree, while producing medium-sized, green pear-shaped fruit with rich, creamy flesh that is widely regarded as one of the finest-flavoured avocados. An 'A' type flowering variety, Wurtz benefits from a compatible 'B' type pollinator, such as Fuerte or Sharwil, to improve fruit set and increase yields, although it can produce some fruit on its own.
