This is a reissue of a rare title from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was only distributed in very limited quantities. While copies quickly circulate these days, this item is an officially licensed reissue from the master tapes. Percy Jones may not be as well-known as Jaco Pastorius, but he is a bassist of such caliber that it's not an exaggeration to call him the European equivalent of Jaco Pastorius. Like Jaco, he is a master of the fretless bass. He also played in the virtuoso group Brand X. This is a solo live performance by Percy Jones. Although it's a solo, he performs live bass along with sequences programmed into a sequencer, making it quite interesting. It's an audience recording, but since it's not a large-scale band performance, it should be enjoyable. It's a bit unusual, so it might not be for everyone, but it's a must-see for bassists. Show more
