100% Superwash Merino Wool Yarn. Extra fine (19.5 micron) merino is used for these yarns. It feels soft and gentle against the skin. A very versatile yarn, it can be used for shawl s, wraps, mittens, socks and light jumpers. Washable in cold water on a gentle cycle, it is also suitable for children's and baby clothes. Very soft and springy. Approx. 200m (219 yards) per 100g hank. Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles and E - G HookGauge (stocking stitch): 22sts x 30 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 4mm (US 6) needles Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dye lot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project. Although this yarn contains superwash merino, it is recommended that knitwear is hand washed.
