When paired with an exhaust and carburetor upgrade, these heads complete the performance flow path, delivering one of the most important horsepower gains you can make to your engine. Key Features: Stainless steel valves with triple-angle seats for uncompromising sealing and compression. Interlocking valve seats with a swirled polish, precision ground and sunk, built to competition standards. Professional porting for improved airflow. Decked surfaces for increased compression while still running reliably on blended pump gas (adjusted since 2012 to help prevent spark knock). Here’s how it works: Purchase: The $200 refundable core charge is included in the price of the set. Return: You are responsible for shipping your old heads (cores) back to us. Returned heads must be free of cracks and broken bolts. Inspection: Once we receive them, we send the cores out for inspection. This process can take a few weeks. Refund: If the cores are in reusable condition, we’ll refund the full $200. If the cores are not reusable, no refund will be issued and you will be notified. If you’d like them returned, you will be responsible for shipping costs. We explain this policy upfront so there are no surprises, our goal is to make the process smooth and transparent.
