The slim, “dry coated” webbing absorbs far less water, meaning it stays lighter for longer during offshore passages. The wide-gate clip makes attaching and releasing quick and simple – even with gloves on – and the built-in overload indicator gives you at-a-glance reassurance that the tether hasn’t been stressed beyond safe working limits. Both DW-STR/03/C and DW-STR/3L are fully compliant with World Sailing / ORC Offshore Special Regulations 5.02.2, requiring a tether with three points of attachment for Category 0, 1, 2 & 3 races – making this an ideal piece of kit for competitive and distance sailing.
