Performer V3 – Designed for Professional Sport & High-Performance Use The Performer V3 has been specifically developed for high-performance applications and demanding conditions. Its harder polymer compound creates a particularly stable glue-on hoof protection system, making it ideal for professional sport and horses exposed to higher levels of stress and intensity. Compared to the Performer V4, the Performer V3 provides less cushioning but offers increased stability and can also be combined with studs. This makes it an excellent choice for performance-oriented riders and horses competing under demanding conditions. Due to its harder material, the Performer V3 is a bit more rigid and therefore more prone to breakage if not fitted correctly. Proper trimming of the heel section is essential to ensure the best possible fit and durability. Please use our size chart before ordering to determine the correct size for your horse. Key Features at a Glance Suitable for temperatures between 50°F and 104°F Between 50°F and 59°F, we recommend using spikes for optimal grip Harder polymer compound than the Performer V4 Highly stable glue-on hoof protection for demanding conditions Suitable for leisure riding, sport, and professional competition Ideal for high speeds and intensive workloads Suitable for therapeutic applications requiring a particularly stable glue-on hoof protection system, such as hoof cracks or keratomas Suitable for modifications in cases of acute laminitis Compatible with studs (Performer for Studs available here) Also compatible with abrasion pins, pads, wedges, and spikes Less cushioning than the Performer V4 Slightly longer slide phase on asphalt compared to the Performer V4 What Makes the Performer V3 Different? The Performer V3 is made from a harder polymer compound than the Performer V4. This creates a particularly stable and durable hoof protection system specifically designed for professional sport and high-intensity use. The Performer V3 is especially popular in show jumping. Due to the harder material, the V3 provides less cushioning than the Performer V4. It also has a slightly longer slide phase on asphalt. Depending on the application and surface, we recommend using spikes or abrasion pins for additional grip. At temperatures between 50°F and 59°F, we generally recommend using spikes for optimal traction. Another major advantage of the Performer V3 is the option to use it with studs. Our specially prepared Performer for Studs is available here and provides additional traction for demanding sporting conditions. What's Included The Performer V3 is supplied as a pair (2 pieces). Each package contains: 2 × Performer V3 1 jar of Primer (pre-measured for one application) Application brush Information leaflet No additional adhesive is required.
