Performer Winter – Designed for Cold Weather Conditions The Performer Winter has been specifically developed for use in temperatures ranging from +50°F to −22°F. Its specially formulated polymer compound ensures reliable installation and maintains optimal material properties even in freezing conditions. Compared to the standard Performer V3, the green polymer retains heat for longer after heating. This gives you approximately 30 additional seconds during installation, making fitting significantly easier in cold weather. In addition, the black polymer has been formulated to be slightly softer, providing improved grip on asphalt and other hard surfaces during the winter months. The Performer Winter features a specially developed polymer compound designed specifically for low temperatures. The green polymer retains heat for longer after heating, providing approximately 30 additional seconds of working time during installation. This makes fitting the Performer considerably easier on cold days. The black polymer has been formulated to be slightly softer, resulting in improved grip on asphalt and other hard surfaces during winter conditions. Important: Due to the softer polymer compound, studs must not be used with the Performer Winter. For additional traction, we recommend using spikes, abrasion pins, or hard metal pins instead. What's Included The Performer Winter is supplied as a pair (2 pieces). Each package contains: 2 × Performer Winter 1 jar of Primer (pre-measured for one application) Application brush Information leaflet No additional adhesive is required. Each Performer is equipped with high-quality 3M adhesive pads on every tab, which have been veterinarian-tested for safety on the hoof wall. This allows for a clean, simple, and hoof-friendly application. Important: Before installation, please check the Primer. It should be clear in appearance. If the Primer appears milky, please do not use it. Instead, send a photo to [email protected] so our team can assess whether it needs to be replaced. To check the fit, simply hold the sole of the Performer against your horse's hoof. Important: Never place the Performer onto the hoof while it is still cold, as this may damage the product. Once the Performer has been heated and shaped to your horse's hoof, it can no longer be returned. Heated, shaped, or otherwise damaged Performers are not eligible for refund or exchange.
