Perfumers Alcohol SD40-B (200 Proof) is a high-purity, perfume-grade alcohol made from 100% natural grain ethanol. With its low odour and excellent clarity, this denatured alcohol is widely used as a carrier and solvent in the creation of fine fragrances and personal care formulations. It blends well with most essential oils and fragrance compounds, making it ideal for alcohol-based products such as Perfume, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne, Body Sprays, Room Sprays, and Linen Waters. In high-alcohol formulations, Perfumers Alcohol can often dissolve fragrance and essential oils without the need for additional solubilizers. However, in water-based products or with certain heavier or resinous ingredients, an additional solubilizer may still be required for full clarity and stability.
