These period Brass Bloxwich Door Knobs are turned from a solid brass bar to create a faithful reproduction of a very elegant design. Although more commonly found in Georgian/Regency period properties, because of their neat shape and size they sit very nicely in many cottage style properties too. They are suitable to use with both mortice or rim locks and latches. The roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw. The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
