A simple pair of Brass Cottage Door Knobs that have been authentically reproduced from a classic period bun design. Available in 2 sizes - the small cottage knobs are perfect for using with our range of rim latches. Although more commonly found in Victorian/Edwardian period properties, because of their neat shape and size they sit very nicely in many country house and cottage style properties too. They have been made to suit both mortice or rim locks and latches, the roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw. The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. By removing the spindle sleeve, these door knobs are also suitable for a 7.5mm lock or latch. Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
