Our Ebony Bun Door Knobs are turned from real ebony and are available with 2 Brass rose patterns. Choose from the traditional flower petal rose or a simpler plain rose. Unlike ebonised door knobs, using real ebony produces a truly smooth, elegant finish that really does look stunning. As these are turned, slight nicks in the wood are normal and add to the character. They have been made to suit both mortice or rim locks and latches, the roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw. The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
