These Large Brass Beehive Door Knobs are a variation on our classic standard beehive, although they have more of a rounded shape to them. Made slightly bigger they will sit very well on large period doors or provide an excellent choice for your Front Door. These Large Brass Beehive Door Knobs are a faithful reproduction of the classic period design. This authentic period feel is more commonly found in Victorian/Edwardian period properties. They have been made to suit both mortice or rim locks and latches, the roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw. The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
