Permawood™ is a high-performance wood base which is effective from traces but is perfectly suitable for uses up to five percent. It is a top to bottom blend which adds body and strength to the heart of a scent, a luxurious ambery dry down, and a softening and rounding polish to top notes. Permawood™ is composed of extremely modern aroma molcules with a very delicate odour which belies its astonishing power. Permawood™ is all about radiance, rounding and fixing. This is a base which will improve any fragrance to which it is added. Permawood™ can be used as a one-for-one replacer for Fixobois® which has undergone reformulation in recent times. Ambrox DL (EC 942-754-1) and Cetalox (EC 701-326-2) Update: This product contains Ambrox DL or Cetalox. As a result of recent testing, Firmenich has updated the hazards of those two materials to a new hazard category − Reproductive Toxicant Category 2 - H361d: Suspected of damaging the unborn child. Permawood™ is the perfect fixative for Lorysia®, and Iso E Super™, and has a synergy with Miraclewood™, Thujopsene, Ambrexol™, Ambergris, Saxon Moss, Suralette™ Extra, Verdantol™ and woody, herbal or green notes in general.
