As an IRAC Group 3A synthetic pyrethroid, Permethrin SFR provides fast knockdown and residual insect control across residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and agricultural sites. The label also includes preconstruction lumber and logs, certain residential fruit and nut tree uses, and specific animal-use directions. Structural termite treatments and certain preconstruction applications are restricted to properly licensed or registered pest-control professionals. For ornamental plants and trees, rates vary by pest and application type, with thorough and uniform coverage required for best results. For subterranean termite applications, a 0.5% emulsion is the standard labeled treatment concentration for many pre- and post-construction uses. Termiticide applications require specific soil-treatment volumes, trenching, rodding, injection, or other labeled structural techniques and must be performed by properly licensed or registered applicators.
