The Perpetrator has become one of the most productive swung flies for steelhead on our local rivers. It's a unique design from many other traditional steelhead patterns out there. The beadhead allows it to fish deeper in the water column and the stinging hook allows for a higher hookup ratio. In rivers where fish really key on insect life, like the Rogue, Klamath, and Trinity, this fly is a must have. It would also be appropriate on Upper Columbia River tributaries like the Grand Ronde.
