The live preview shows exactly how your text sits on the pendant and how many characters fit before you add to cart. What chain length does it come with? The padlock necklace ships on a 45 cm chain, about 18 inches, which sits just below the collarbone. That is the length most customers choose. See the size guide to compare. What is it made of? 316L stainless steel — the corrosion-resistant alloy used in watchmaking. It does not rust in the shower and holds engraving crisply. Gold and rose gold finishes are 18K plated over that steel core; black uses a durable PVD coating. See our care guide. Can I check the engraving before it is made?
