Responsible for 43% of Peru's coffee production, the region’s unique elevation and the wide temperature swings between day and night contribute to the coffee’s vibrant, fruity brightness. Expect a rich, flavorful cup with sweet pear and baked apple notes, complemented by honey and brown sugar sweetness. A subtle hint of star anise and nutmeg spice adds complexity, while the smooth, heavier body carries through to a long, satisfying finish. Whether brewed as a Chemex or using any pour-over method, this coffee’s deep, silky body truly shines. The gentle fruit, intense sweetness, and smooth body make it a perfectly balanced cup. Show more
