Sourced from the Cooperativa Agaria Frontera San Ignacio in the Cajamarca region, this washed Peruvian coffee is grown at elevations of 1350-1890 meters, producing a vibrant and expressive cup with excellent clarity. This is a fruit-forward profile, led by crisp green apple and juicy peach sweetness. Layers of kiwi and raspberry bring a lively, slightly tart complexity, while a clean grapefruit finish adds a refreshing citrus edge that carries through the cup. As it cools, the fruit notes become more defined, giving a bright, balanced coffee with a refined structure and a clean finish making it perfect to be enjoyed as a pour over. Beyond the cup, the El Oso project plays an important role in supporting sustainable farming and protecting surrounding forest ecosystems, making this a coffee that not only tastes good, but does good too.
