Start your morning with a piece of Renaissance art in your hands. The DERUTA OF ITALY Perugino Deruta mug is a hand-painted majolica coffee mug made in Deruta, the Umbrian hilltop town known for its ceramics since the 12th century. It holds a generous 10 oz, enough for coffee, tea or hot cocoa, and it looks just as good on a shelf as it does at the breakfast table. Why You'll Love This DERUTA OF ITALY Mug A pattern with centuries of history: The Perugino design comes from Raffaellesco, a 16th-century style inspired by the arabesques in Raphael's frescoes. This version shows the tail of the famous Raffaellesco dragon and stays faithful to the original motifs. Painted by hand, piece by piece: Master artisans paint each mug by hand in classic Renaissance tones of royal blue, golden yellow and deep forest green. The strong contrast makes every cup feel like a small work of art. Authentic Italian maiolica: This earthenware mug is handcrafted in Deruta using traditional techniques. It is finished with 100% food-safe glazes and colors. Easy everyday care: It is dishwasher safe, so an heirloom-style piece can still be part of your daily coffee routine.
