These Peruvian Opal beads are approximately 12mm x 8mm. They are a beautiful sea green/blue color with brown and green matrix. They are simply faceted (just a few cuts). These bead s are sold on a 8" (20cm) strand with approximately 16 beads per strand. Silk on a needle (size 3 - 5) or medium beading wire is appropriate for stringing these beads. Peruvian Opal is the national stone of Peru. It is thought to reduce stress and promote tranquility. Please understand that this is a natural material and allow for some variation in appearance.
