What I need from you: 1) A good quality photo of your pet! Feel free to send me more than one to [email protected] A high resolution photo is preferred so that I can zero in on the fine details. I prefer a close-up of the face and neck at different angles. What makes a great photo? 1) Lighting: outside on a cloudy day is ideal to be able to see all the colors of your pet. Inside, you want as much light as possible. 2) Use a good quality camera or smart phone. 3) Find a time when your pet is restful and calm. If your pet is high energy all the time, use their favourite treats or toys to bribe their cooperation. No one is judging you. 4) Take a photo that is close up, at eye level so their face is taking up most of the frame. 5) Take dozens of photos and there should be a couple that turn out perfectly. (You can delete extras later). 6) Hold the camera steady so the image isn’t blurry. 7) Try to capture the personality in their expression. It’s all in the eyes!
