A sablé cookie made with flour and almond flour originates from Sablé-sur-Sarthe in the Normandy region of France, dating back to the 17th century. The term sablé means "sand" Sable's are delicate and flavorful with the addition of premium European butter, egg, all-purpose flour, pure vanilla bean and fine milled blanched almond flour. Eat them plain, dusted with sugar or as a double cookie filled with a favorite preserve or chocolate hazelnut filling. The Petaled Daisy is 4” approximately and filled with premium preserves or chocolate hazelnut filling. Two sizes are available- Large 4" and Petite Daisy cookies.
