The PF22 Foamer Kit is MTM Hydro's patented Italian foam cannon, built around a single-cast nickel-plated brass body. It throws thick, clinging foam for vehicles, fleet, equipment, and general exterior soap work on any pressure washer between 1,100 and 5,000 PSI. Key Features Single-cast nickel-plated brass body: Italian-made and rebuildable with stocked spare parts, so it outlasts all-plastic cannons. Patented two-stage nozzle: US patent 10,562,049. Adjustable fan blades plus vertical and horizontal spray rotation. Click-dial chemical metering: turn the top knob for thicker or lighter foam without swapping anything. 32 oz stand-up wide-mouth bottle: anti-tip, quick to fill, quick-release off the cannon. Tunable orifices: swap the orifice to match your machine's GPM and PSI, so you get thick foam instead of pulsing or watery spray. Weighted stainless pickup filter: the PF22.2 suction tube ships with a weighted stainless filter to keep the chemical draw clean. Specifications Material Italian single-cast nickel-plated brass body, polyethylene bottle, fiberglass-reinforced plastic nozzle Bottle capacity 32 oz stand-up wide-mouth Pressure range 1,100 to 5,000 PSI Flow rate 1.4 to 5.3 GPM Max temperature 140°F (60°C) Orifice sizes 3.0 (1.1mm), 3.5 (1.25mm), 5.0 (1.5mm), 6.5 (1.7mm) Inlet 1/4" QC plug; fitting pack includes a 1/4" M22 adaptor Patent US 10,562,049 Warranty 90-day limited Country of origin Italy What's Included Every kit ships with the nickel-plated brass cannon body, the 32 oz stand-up bottle and adaptor, a 1/4" x 9" suction tube with a weighted stainless filter, the 3.5 orifice installed plus the 3.0 loose, a fitting pack (1/4" M22 adaptor and 1/4" QC plug), and a printed manual with an exploded view. You pick two options at checkout: Plug: the stainless plug config ships a stainless 1/4" QC plug at the inlet; the standard config ships a plated-steel plug. The stainless plug adds corrosion resistance at the inlet fitting only. It doesn't change the brass body. Orifice level: the Standard Kit covers the 3.0 and 3.5 orifices. The Kit plus Orifice Pack adds the 5.0 and 6.5 for the full 3.0 / 3.5 / 5.0 / 6.5 set, which higher-flow machines need. It fits gas and higher-flow electric pressure washers from 1,100 to 5,000 PSI and 1.4 to 5.3 GPM, with M22 or 1/4" QC ends. It won't foam below about 1,100 PSI or 1.4 GPM, and it doesn't work with flow-sensing unloaders, which cause pulsing and cutout. This is a detailing and soap cannon, not a soft wash SH applicator. The brass body corrodes with SH, and the stainless plug option doesn't change that. For routine roof and house soft washing, use purpose-built soft wash gear with poly or stainless paths and stainless tips. How It Works The cannon mounts at the gun or lance end of your pressure washer, downstream of the pump, in place of a spray tip. Pressurized water passes through the orifice and creates a venturi that draws soap up the tube from the 32 oz bottle. Water, chemical, and air mix in the chamber to make thick foam that clings and dwells so it can break down dirt. The click-dial knob sets how much chemical gets drawn. Match the orifice to your machine's flow so you don't build back-pressure or thin the foam. Because injection happens downstream, the pump never touches the chemical, only the cannon's brass path does. Pairs Well With Black SGS35 Spray Gun to trigger the cannon SGS28 Spray Gun as an alternate trigger gun Stainless Steel Quick Connect Plug Stainless Steel Quick Connect Socket Grease Lightning for degreasing fleet and equipment Frequently Asked Questions Which orifice do I need for my machine? Match it to your GPM and PSI. Use the 3.0 for low-flow and electric machines, the 3.5 (installed at the factory) for mid-range, the 5.0 for higher-flow-but-lower-PSI machines (MTM's example is 2000 PSI at 3.5 GPM needing the 5.0), and the 6.5 for the highest flow. Too small pulses and stresses the pump. Too large gives watery foam. The Standard Kit covers 3.0 and 3.5; the Orifice Pack adds 5.0 and 6.5. Will it work with my pressure washer? Yes, as long as it makes at least about 1,100 PSI and 1.4 GPM and doesn't use a flow-sensing unloader, which causes pulsing. Some residential units like Generac, Greenworks, Ryobi, and AR Blue Clean need the Low Profile QC plug 24.5006 to seat the fitting. Can I run bleach through it to wash a roof or house? You physically can, since the chemical stays downstream of the pump, but it isn't what this cannon is for. The brass body corrodes with SH, so rinse fresh water through it after every use and expect faster wear. The stainless plug option only protects the inlet fitting, not the body. For routine SH work, run purpose-built soft wash gear instead.
