Designed in the first half of the 1950s by Poul Henningsen, the Lounge Edition translates the tactile profile of an axe handle into eight solid oak legs calm strength with a light visual stance. Two sizes at staggered lounge heights let the tables nest as a balanced pair or work individually beside sofas and lounge chairs. A central removable cover reveals a discreet mounting point for a PH 3½–2½ Table Lamp with concealed wiring routed through a leg; shades are available in green, red, yellow or white.
