Stevens finds out about an unusual radiactive rock on the ocean floor, and sets off to discover what its connection might be with mutated creature stalking the beach. THE PHANTOM PLANET: This sci-fi remake of fantasy classic "Gulliver's Travels" begins with astronaut Frank Chapman (Dean Fredericks) crash landing on a mysterious asteroid he has shrunk to the size of a puppet, he meets the Rehton inhabitants of the planet. They want him to remain small in order to help them fight against the Solanites, inhuman monsters bent on destroying the universe.
