The smaller form factor combined with a chiseled point allows for a greater level of precision and control. Both sides of the Phase III body employ an ergonomic scallop in which the tips of the finger and thumb rest in. The surface of these scallops are lined with teeth like opposing grips that keep the Phase III exactly where you want it. Four different thickness options are available to serve your personal taste and needs. .03125" (1/32" or .8mm) .0625" (1/16" or 1.5mm) .09375" (3/32" or 2mm) .125" (1/8" or 3mm) All of these features have been machined into a high quality thermoplastic (Acetal Homopolymer) to produce a pick imbued with low friction and long life. Both color options (Black or White) are Acetal Homopolymer (aka Delrin) and will perform exactly the same.
