This lid is made of phenolic, an industrial grade, highly rigid, plastic with a good resistance to solvents and high temperatures. Excellent for use on our amber glass boston bottl es as they are highly resistant to essential oils. The cone lined cap provides a wedge type seal that not only seals across the top of the container, it also seals across the inside diameter.
