Florida Ghost Philodendron 👻🌿 is loved for its dramatic lobed leaves that emerge pale minty white before gradually deepening to green, giving it a fresh ghostly look that changes a s it grows. It does best in bright indirect light indoors, where the lighter new growth stays brightest and the plant can climb beautifully with support. This plant is generally manageable, but it grows and colors best with steady light, regular watering, and a little patience. Pro tip: if the new leaves start coming in darker green instead of ghostly pale, move it closer to brighter light and give it a pole so the foliage can size up better ✨. ⸻ Quick Facts: 🌱 Botanical Name: Philodendron pedatum ‘Florida Ghost’ 🏷️ Common Names: Florida Ghost Philodendron 💧 Watering Needs: Moderate; water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry ☀️ Light Needs: Bright indirect light 🍃 Growth Habit: Climbing vine 🪴 Difficulty Level: Beginner to Intermediate ⚠️ Toxicity: Toxic if chewed or ingested by pets or people 🌎 Native Region: Cultivar of a tropical American Philodendron lineage ⸻ At Austin Jungle Co, we believe plants can brighten a space, lift the mood, and make everyday life feel a little better.
