They all come from tropical or subtropical climates and love humidity (and are great plants to have in your bathroom as a result). Each Philodendron has its own growth pattern and leaf style, which makes these all the more fun to collect. Some are natural trailers or climbers, and others grow straight up or even creep. The Mican Philodendron is a trailing/climbing variation with marbled, striped, or pink velvety leaves. The variegated varietal is much slower growing than a typical Mican and is much more difficult to propagate. Without proper care, these rare plants can loose their varigation. Basic Care Notes: Bright, indirect light is crucial to preserve the variegation, avoid direct sunlight as their leaves can burn from sun exposure. Philodendrons tolerate a range of watering schedules but prefers to be watered when the top 2 inches of soil is dry.
