This fiber is a blend of wools from a variety of breeds of sheep, including breeds such as Corriedale, Polwarth, and Merino. Our 28 micron Falkland wool makes a yarn with bulk and softness. Falkland wool is a great fiber for beginning as well as advanced handspinners, and is soft enough for most next to the skin garments. This wool is non-superwashed and can be used for felting.
