As a result of our extensive phormium trials, we have begun to offer the West Coast favorite, P. tenax. While most phormiums hate our humid summers and cold winters, P. tenax has n ow survived since 1993 in our garden, including two winters at 0 degrees F. The 6' long by 2" wide, medium-green, iris-like foliage will make quite a structural statement in your garden.
