Please note: quality of the engraving will depend on the quality of the photo - the higher the res, the better! Since the coasters are dark, all dark elements on the engraving will have a white outline around to keep as much detail as possible. These coasters are made from 100% natural slate - no coatings or seals - so they actually do what coasters should: absorb moisture from your glass. While this might leave marks over time, they’re easily cleaned with mild soap, water, and a cloth. The laser engraving is permanent and won't be affected.
