We are very excited about this backcross to popowii (syn. humboldtii) as a step toward creating intensely colored, long-petaled Phragmipedium hybrids. The grex Ruby Throat came clo se to that goal, and by crossing it back to popowii, we hope to produce flowers with petal lengths exceeding 12 inches.A limited number of seedlings are available.
