Phragmipedium QF Lee is a primary cross between the elegant Phrag. hirtzii and the magnificent Phrag. caudatum blends the desirable characteristics of its parent species to create a plant with stunning floral features. Light: Prefers bright but indirect light. It is crucial to avoid direct sun, especially during the midday hours, as this can easily scorch the leaves. Temperature: Thrives in moderate temperatures, with a preference for intermediate conditions. Ideal daytime temperatures range between 18-24°C (65-75°F), with a slight drop at night to 13-18°C (55-65°F). Humidity: Requires high humidity, ideally between 60-80%. Good air circulation is vital to prevent fungal issues, especially in humid conditions. Watering: This hybrid demands consistent moisture. Proper care involves ensuring consistent moisture in a well-draining growing medium and providing regular fertilization to support robust growth and vibrant flowering. Additional Notes Phragmipedium QF Lee displays classic slipper orchid pouches with striking color variations. Its most notable characteristic is the long, elegant, twisted petals inherited from Phrag. caudatum.
