Pronounced phoo-law, our crimson velvet table mat is sure to add a pop of vibrancy to any tablescape. Repurposed from a lithograph from the 1800s, this pattern originated as a frie ze from a Pompeian home which comes from a unique crossover in Thessaloniki Greece known as Byzantine-Pompeii. Derived from the Latin Greek word for 'leaf' the contrast of the bright green on the red base would liven up any table beautifully for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Diwali or just an intimate dinner for two.
