Quantity/Pack: Seasonality: May - AugOrigin: USA Picasso Meloncello Melon more than earns its name; this is one art-worthy piece of fruit! Its netted rind is reminiscent of cantalo upe but splashed with irregular watercolor splotches of green and yellow. The color lightens as the melon reaches peak ripeness. Slice a Picasso Meloncello Melon open and the real surprise begins. The pale white-green flesh is incredibly juicy and tender, with a sophisticated flavor profile that balances luscious melon sweetness with a bright, limoncello-inspired zing. That contrast is what sets the Picasso Meloncello apart from other melons. The vibrant sweet-tart character of Picasso Meloncello Melon plays beautifully with both fresh and savory applications. Classic pairings include arugula, basil, feta, mint, prosciutto, and lime. For more adventurous eating, try it alongside brie, grilled seafood, or with a drizzle of honey and flaky salt. Its striking appearance also makes it a showstopper on a grazing board or summer entertaining spread. And thanks to its firm texture, Picasso Meloncello holds up beautifully when lightly grilled and served alongside cured meats or soft cheeses. Storage: Store whole, uncut melon at room temperature until ripe, then refrigerate. Once cut, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–5 days. Show more
