Set 1: Top- The front and the back are knitted separately with a side seam and shoulder closure. Extra stitches are cast on to create the shoulder straps which fasten with a button on each side. The skirt has a back seam with a ribbon or I- cord draw through the eyelet rows at the waist. You can leave the skirt with the pattern stitch orfollow the instructions to add the smocking on the skirt. Set 2: Top back and front knit as a single piece with a 3 button front closure until the division for the underarms. Extra stitches are cast on to create the shoulder straps which fasten with a button on each side. The skirt knits as a single piece with a 3 button front closure. You can leave the skirt with the pattern stitch or follow theinstructions to add the smocking on the skirt. To add an extra touch, instructions for a hair tie are included.
