He stares as if he’s looking into my soul. Tigers are the largest wild cats in the world and can weigh up to 600 lbs. They are solitary hunters, and generally search for food alone at night. A tiger's roar can be heard as far as three kilometres away. Their habitat has been destroyed by human activities, and tigers are on the brink of extinction. Just over a century ago, 100,000 wild tigers roamed across Asia. Today, only 5,600 tigers remain in the wild in a mere five per cent of their historic range. Much more work is needed to protect this species if we are to secure its future in the wild. 2024 Media:Acrylic painting on stretched canvasFramed Dimensions:24" x 30"Depth: 1.5" Finished sides & edgesThis painting wraps around all sides of the canvas.
