When Piergiorgio Cazzaniga introduced the Sign chair for MDF Italia in 2006, it marked a clear shift in how a single material could carry both structural and expressive weight. Mol ded from one continuous sheet of polyethylene, the form is fluid where most outdoor seating is rigid, its silhouette tracing a quiet arc that reads as both sculptural and instinctively ergonomic. The chair's sinuous profile is not decorative in the conventional sense. It emerges directly from the forming process, so the curve and the comfort are the same gesture.
